COMPOSITION
One capsule contains:
vincamine — 30 mg.
INDICATIONS FOR USE
For normalization and adaptation of cerebral blood circulation to the metabolic needs of the brain, as well as for regulation, improvement, and maintenance of its functions.
Indicated in the following conditions:
- memory impairment;
- decreased concentration;
- diabetic angiopathy;
- atherosclerotic lesions of cerebral vessels;
- conditions after traumatic brain injury and acute cerebrovascular disorders;
- cerebral disorders after brain ischemia;
- hypertensive encephalopathy;
- hearing and visual disturbances of vascular origin;
- disorientation in space and time.
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION
Vinebral capsules are taken orally with a sufficient amount of water.
Adults are prescribed 1 capsule twice daily.

PHARMACOLOGICAL PROPERTIES
Pharmacodynamics
Vinebral exerts a selective vasoregulatory effect on cerebral vessels, promoting adaptation of cerebral blood flow to the metabolic needs of the brain.
It improves brain metabolism by enhancing glucose oxidation, thereby increasing energy production and overall body activity.
It increases oxygen supply to neurons under hypoxic conditions and normalizes cerebral circulation. It enhances cognitive performance and improves memory.
The product is well tolerated, has no biological or hematological toxicity, and does not adversely affect the kidneys or liver.
Pharmacokinetics
After oral administration, it is rapidly absorbed from the gastrointestinal tract. The elimination half-life is 60–90 minutes. Plasma protein binding is approximately 64%.
It is completely metabolized in the liver; only 4–6% is excreted unchanged in the urine.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
·brain tumor;
·pregnancy and breastfeeding period;
· known hypersensitivity to vincamine and other components of the medicinal product.
ADVERSE REACTIONS
Gastrointestinal system: nausea, heartburn, diarrhea, constipation, dry mouth.
Cardiovascular system: decreased blood pressure, tachycardia.
Allergic reactions: skin rash, itching.
DRUG INTERACTIONS
Concomitant use of Vinebral with itraconazole and vincristine may increase neurotoxicity in patients with acute lymphoblastic leukemia.
Vinebral enhances the effect of antihypertensive agents and antiplatelet drugs.
The combination of quinupristin/dalfopristin acts as an inhibitor of the CYP3A4 isoenzyme and, when used concomitantly, may increase vinpocamine plasma concentrations.
SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS
The recommended doses should not be exceeded. Use with caution in patients with arterial hypertension and impaired cardiac function. Do not use in patients with QT interval prolongation or hypokalemia.
Use during pregnancy and breastfeeding
Contraindicated during pregnancy and lactation.
Effects on ability to drive and operate machinery
Vinebral does not affect the ability to drive vehicles or perform tasks requiring high psychomotor reaction speed.
The medicinal product should be kept out of reach of children and not used after the expiry date.
