PHARMACOLOGICAL PROPERTIES

Pharmacodynamics

 Venodiol-Ultra has angioprotective effects, reduces edema, protects capillaries, decreases hematoma severity, and relieves heaviness in the legs.

Heparin inhibits thrombin synthesis and exerts anticoagulant, anti-inflammatory, and antiexudative effects.

 Escin (derived from Aesculus hippocastanum seeds) provides anti-edematous, anti-inflammatory, and venotonic activity.

Troxerutin has antioxidant properties, reduces capillary permeability, and protects the vascular wall.

Pharmacokinetics

 Heparin shows minimal systemic absorption when applied topically and does not affect coagulation parameters.

 The pharmacokinetics of escin after topical application have not been studied.

Troxerutin rapidly penetrates the skin, being detected in the dermis within approximately 30 minutes and in adipose tissue within 2–5 hours.

CONTRAINDICATIONS

·hypersensitivity to the active substances or to any of the excipients included in the medicinal product;

·  skin lesions (burns, eczema, open wounds).
