TSUNAMI

COMPOSITION

1 capsule contains:

• • dry concentrate of large cranberry juice — 200 mg; 
  • dry extract of large cranberry fruits — 3 mg. 

INDICATIONS FOR USE 

Tsunami is recommended as part of комплексной therapy and for the prevention of:

• • genitourinary tract infections in adults and children; 
  • genitourinary tract infections during pregnancy; 
  • genitourinary tract infections in kidney transplant recipients. 

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION

Take Tsunami orally after meals with sufficient water.

For children under 3 years and patients unable to swallow capsules:

• • open the capsule; 
  • pour the contents into a spoon; 
  • mix with a small amount of food or liquid. 

For prevention:

• • children 1–3 years: 1 capsule once daily; 
  • children over 3 years and adults: 2 capsules daily. 

As part of combination therapy for infections:

• • 2–6 capsules daily. 

Treatment duration:

• • 3–4 weeks; 
  • the course may be repeated after a 2-week break.

PHARMACOLOGICAL PROPERTIES

Tsunami contains a combination of two active ingredients:

• • dry concentrate of large cranberry juice (NutriCran®); 
  • dry extract of large cranberry fruits (CystiCran®). 

NutriCran® contains high concentrations of organic acids (quinic and benzoic acids) with antibacterial properties.

CystiCran® contains proanthocyanidins, a special class of bioflavonoids with:

• • antioxidant; 
  • anti-inflammatory; 
  • antiallergic; 
  • wound-healing properties. 

Proanthocyanidins:

• • inhibit inflammatory mediators (histamine, serine proteases, prostaglandins, leukotrienes); 
  • prevent adhesion of bacteria, especially Escherichia coli, to the urinary tract epithelium, reducing the risk of urinary tract infections. 

Cranberry is also a rich source of:

• • flavonoids (rutin, quercetin); 
  • pectins; 
  • anthocyanidins; 
  • vitamin C. 

These compounds:

• • protect cells from free radicals; 
  • strengthen capillary membranes; 
  • enhance resistance to infections; 
  • reduce capillary permeability and fragility. 

Rutin enhances the biological activity of vitamin C.

Due to its antimicrobial activity, Tsunami:

• • helps reduce the need for antibiotics; 
  • increases the body's resistance; 
  • lowers the risk of recurrent urinary tract inflammation. 

Tsunami is a natural antiseptic and may be used alone or as part of combination therapy for chronic infections.

CONTRAINDICATIONS

·individual intolerance or hypersensitivity to the components of the product; 

·  acute inflammatory diseases of the gastrointestinal tract (gastric and duodenal ulcer).

ADVERSE REACTIONS

Allergic reactions may occur.

DRUG INTERACTIONS

Tsunami may be used in combination with antibacterial therapy.

SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS

• • The product may be used during pregnancy when indicated. 
  • Use during breastfeeding should be determined individually by the physician. 

Pediatric use:

• • The product may be used in children over 1 year of age.
