PHARMACOLOGICAL PROPERTIES
Sanovit is a combined multivitamin preparation whose effects are determined by the properties of its active components. Vitamins act as catalysts and regulators of biochemical and physiological processes in metabolism.
Vitamin A supports normal growth and is involved in the formation and maintenance of bones, teeth, and skin structure and function, as well as in visual pigment synthesis.
Vitamin B1 contributes to normal nervous system function.
Vitamin B2 is involved in tissue respiration and in protein, carbohydrate, and fat metabolism.
Vitamin B5 is a component of coenzyme A (a non-protein organic compound essential for enzyme activity) and plays an important role in the regeneration of skin and mucous membranes.
Vitamin B6 helps maintain the structure and function of bones, teeth, and gums and influences erythropoiesis.
Vitamin B9 is essential for normal growth, tissue development, and proliferation, particularly hematopoiesis and embryogenesis; it also enhances mental and physical performance and stimulates gastric hydrochloric acid secretion.
Vitamin B12 is involved in erythropoiesis and supports normal nervous system function.
Vitamin C has strong reducing properties, contributes to detoxification processes, and is essential for collagen synthesis (a structural component of blood vessels, tendons, ligaments, and bones), as well as cholesterol conversion into bile acids. It supports the structure of bones, teeth, and gums and strengthens capillary walls.
Vitamin D3 increases calcium absorption in the small intestine, stimulates calcium-binding protein synthesis, and enhances renal tubular calcium reabsorption. It promotes bone remodeling and affects the thyroid, parathyroid, and gonadal functions, ensuring bone mineralization.
Vitamin E is an antioxidant that protects cells from damage and aging, inhibits free radical formation, and supports muscle and gonadal function.
Vitamin PP is a component of enzymes involved in cellular respiration and protein metabolism and regulates nervous system and digestive functions.
The effect of Sanovit is due to the combined properties of its components; therefore, pharmacokinetic studies are not feasible.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug.
ADVERSE REACTIONS
Allergic reactions may occur.
DRUG INTERACTIONS
It is not recommended to take Sanovit simultaneously with other multivitamin complexes, especially preparations containing vitamins A and D, in order to avoid overdose.
SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS
Do not exceed the recommended doses. Urine may become intensely yellow due to the presence of riboflavin in the formulation.
