COMPOSITION

In 1 capsules contains:

Probiotic microorganisms (not less than 1.5 × 10⁹ CFU):

    • Lactobacillus helveticus 
    • Lactococcus lactis ssp. 
    • Bifidobacterium longum 
    • Lactobacillus rhamnosus 
    • Bifidobacterium breve 
    • Streptococcus thermophilus 
    • Bifidobacterium bifidum 
    • Lactobacillus casei 
    • Lactobacillus plantarum 

Additional components:

    • Fructooligosaccharides — 39 mg 
    • Ascorbic acid — 50 mg 
    • Vitamin B1 — 0.5 mg 
    • Vitamin B2 — 0.6 mg 
    • Vitamin B6 — 0.6 mg. 

INDICATIONS FOR USE 

    • restoration and normalization of intestinal microflora, improvement of digestion 
    • treatment of gastroenteritis and dyspepsia 
    • prevention and treatment of antibiotic-associated diarrhea 
    • treatment of transient intestinal dysfunctions (diarrhea or constipation) related to dietary changes, travel, and other causes 
    • improvement of lactose tolerance 
    • improvement of skin microflora 
    • improvement of symptoms in chronic fatigue syndrome 
    • enhancement of immunity and overall resistance to diseases 
    • as an additional source of vitamins 

The product is specific for the prevention of infections caused by Clostridium difficile. 

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION

    • Lacidoforte is taken orally during meals with a sufficient amount of water. 
    • For children under 3 years and patients who cannot swallow capsules, the capsule should be opened, and its contents mixed with a small amount of liquid. 

Dosage:

    • Children 1–3 years: 1 capsule 1–2 times daily 
    • Children 3–12 years: 1 capsule 3 times daily 
    • Adults and adolescents over 12 years: 1–2 capsules 3 times daily 

The duration of treatment depends on the cause of dysbiosis and individual patient characteristics.

PHARMACOLOGICAL PROPERTIES

·Lacidoforte is a combined probiotic that optimizes body functions, regulates balance, and normalizes intestinal microflora composition. 

·Bifidobacteria and lactobacilli have strong antagonistic activity against a wide range of pathogenic and opportunistic microorganisms. They create favorable conditions for beneficial intestinal flora, maintain physiological balance, and support normalization of gastrointestinal microbiocenosis. 

·Fructooligosaccharides are fermentable dietary fibers. They are not digested but are rapidly fermented by colonic microflora, producing short-chain (volatile) fatty acids. They serve as a nutrient source for colonic epithelial cells. 

·Ascorbic acid has strong reducing properties and helps activate enzymes that detoxify harmful environmental substances. 

·Vitamin B1 acts as a cellular energy factor, supporting growth and development and improving mental and physical performance. 

·Vitamin B2 is an important catalyst in cellular respiration and visual processes. 

·  Vitamin B6 improves mental and physical performance, regulates blood glucose levels, and supports normal thyroid function.

CONTRAINDICATIONS

No side effects of Lacidoforte have been reported.

ADVERSE REACTIONS

No adverse effects have been identified.

DRUG INTERACTIONS

There are no data on adverse effects or undesirable reactions in case of interactions with medicinal products.

SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS

When taking probiotics, blood glucose levels should be regularly monitored, and insulin doses should be reduced accordingly if necessary.
