COMPOSITION

Each film-coated tablet contains:

Active ingredients:

• • Glucosamine sulfate (as glucosamine sulfate potassium chloride) — 500 mg; 
  • Chondroitin sulfate (as sodium chondroitin sulfate) — 200 mg; 
  • Ascorbic acid (Vitamin C) — 50 mg; 
  • Manganese (as manganese gluconate dihydrate) — 1.5 mg; 
  • Methylsulfonylmethane (MSM) — 200 mg; 
  • Dry extract of Boswellia serrata gum resin — 50 mg; 
  • Dry extract of Uncaria tomentosa (Cat's Claw) bark — 30 mg. 

INDICATIONS FOR USE 

·degenerative-dystrophic diseases of joints and the spine (including osteochondrosis, rheumatoid arthritis, chondromalacia of the patella, deforming osteoarthritis, spondylosis, shoulder–scapular periarthritis); 

·osteoarthritis grade I–III; 

·increased functional load on joints (excess body weight, physical activity); 

·prevention of joint diseases in the elderly; 

·reduction of consequences of fractures and acceleration of bone callus formation; 

·  complex rehabilitation after joint injuries. 

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION

Ibra is taken orally, 20 minutes before meals, with a sufficient amount of water.

• • During the first 3 weeks: 1 tablet 2–3 times daily. 
  • Thereafter: 1–2 tablets once daily. 

The duration of treatment is 3–6 months.

PHARMACOLOGICAL PROPERTIES

Ibra – a cartilage regeneration stimulator.

 The pharmacological effect of the product is determined by the properties of its active components.

Glucosamine sulfate and chondroitin sulfate are involved in the biosynthesis of connective tissue, prevent cartilage degradation processes, and stimulate cartilage regeneration, thereby reducing pain intensity and improving joint function.

Ascorbic acid stimulates collagen synthesis and moderately enhances the synthesis of aggrecan, the main proteoglycan of articular cartilage.

Manganese participates in energy metabolism, protein and lipid metabolism, and the synthesis of bone and connective tissue.

Methylsulfonylmethane (MSM) is a natural organic sulfur compound with pronounced anti-inflammatory properties. It helps restore damaged skin and connective tissue cells and improves their elasticity.

Dry extract of Boswellia serrata resin has a strong anti-inflammatory effect, supports the musculoskeletal system, and provides analgesic and antiseptic properties.

Dry extract of Uncaria tomentosa (Cat’s Claw) stimulates the immune system, normalizes immunoglobulin levels, promotes the breakdown and elimination of immune complexes, and exhibits anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects.

CONTRAINDICATIONS

·hypersensitivity to any component of the product; 

·thrombophlebitis; 

·tendency to bleeding; 

• children under 15 years of age.

·  pregnancy and breastfeeding period.

ADVERSE REACTIONS

·allergic reactions; 

·headache; 

·diarrhea; 

·constipation; 

·  flatulence.

DRUG INTERACTIONS

Ibra may reduce the effectiveness of semisynthetic penicillins and chloramphenicol and may enhance the effect of anticoagulants.

SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS

Ibra may be used as part of combination therapy together with glucocorticosteroids (GCS) and non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs).

The product should be used with caution in patients with diabetes mellitus, as chondroitin sulfate may reduce insulin tolerance.
