COMPOSITION

1 sachet contains:

Active ingredients:

    • Lyophilized bacteria — 3.0 × 10⁹ CFU 
    • Lactobacillus acidophilus — 0.5 × 10⁹ CFU 
    • Bifidobacterium spp. — 2.5 × 10⁹ CFU 
    • Fennel fruit extract — 200 mg 
    • Chamomile flower extract — 150 mg 
    • Inulin — 150 mg 

INDICATIONS FOR USE 

The product is indicated for restoration and normalization of intestinal microflora and improvement of digestion in the treatment and prevention of the following conditions:

    • antibiotic-associated diarrhea 
    • gastroenteritis, dyspepsia (including flatulence and colic) 
    • intestinal disorders in newborns and during adaptation (including transition from breastfeeding to other types of feeding, introduction of complementary foods, starting daycare, change of residence) 
    • allergic conditions (including atopic dermatitis) 
    • strengthening immunity and overall resistance of the body to diseases. 

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION

The product is intended for pediatric use.

Pacidoforta Kide is taken orally after meals or between meals. To prepare the solution, the contents of 1 sachet should be poured into a bottle or cup, and 100 ml of warm (not hot) boiled water, milk, or juice should be added.

    • Newborns and children up to 6 months: 1 sachet per day (divided into several doses). Store the opened sachet in the refrigerator for no longer than 1 day. 
    • Children 6 months to 1 year: 1 sachet 2 times daily. 
    • Children 1 to 3 years: 1 sachet 3 times daily. 
    • Children 3 years and older: 1 sachet 3–4 times daily. 

Duration of treatment depends on indications and is determined by the physician.

PHARMACOLOGICAL PROPERTIES

Lacidoforte Kids is a combined probiotic containing strains of lactobacilli and bifidobacteria (Lactobacillus acidophilus, Bifidobacterium spp.), as well as extracts of fennel fruit and chamomile flowers. It optimizes body functions and helps maintain and regulate intestinal microflora balance and digestive processes.

Lactobacilli ferment carbohydrates producing lactic acid, enhance natural digestive defense mechanisms, and create favorable conditions for normal intestinal microbiocenosis. Their acidic environment supports the growth of bifidobacteria, which constitute 85–95% of intestinal microflora.

Fennel extract has carminative and antispasmodic effects. Chamomile extract has antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, carminative, analgesic, antispasmodic, and antiallergic properties.

Inulin is a plant polysaccharide that supports intestinal flora, stimulates bifidobacteria growth, increases absorption of calcium and magnesium, and helps normalize lipid and carbohydrate metabolism.

Bifidobacteria and lactobacilli show strong antagonistic activity against pathogenic and opportunistic microorganisms, preventing their adhesion to the intestinal mucosa.

They support physiological microbial balance, normalize gastrointestinal microbiocenosis, enhance nonspecific immunity, and have immunomodulatory effects.

Normal intestinal flora participates in parietal digestion, enzymatic breakdown of proteins, fats, and carbohydrates, and in bile acid and cholesterol metabolism. Lactobacilli and bifidobacteria synthesize amino acids, pantothenic acid, vitamins K and B group, and support absorption of iron, calcium, and vitamin D.
