PHARMACOLOGICAL PROPERTIES

Benevron B is a combined preparation containing B vitamins, whose effects are обусловлены their role in metabolic processes and nervous system function.

Thiamine (vitamin B1) is involved in carbohydrate, protein, and fat metabolism, supports nerve impulse transmission, and improves myocardial function.

Riboflavin (vitamin B2) regulates redox processes, participates in tissue respiration, hemoglobin synthesis, and maintenance of visual function.

Pyridoxine (vitamin B6) is involved in amino acid and lipid metabolism and supports normal nervous system function and hematopoiesis.

Cyanocobalamin (vitamin B12) is essential for nucleic acid synthesis, normal hematopoiesis, nervous system function, tissue regeneration, and helps reduce blood cholesterol levels.

CONTRAINDICATIONS

·Hypersensitivity to any component of the medicinal product;

·Use for the treatment of megaloblastic anemia during pregnancy, except in cases associated with vitamin B12 deficiency;

·  Use in patients with toxic amblyopia.

ADVERSE REACTIONS

The following adverse reactions may occur:

Immune system disorders: frequency unknown — hypersensitivity reactions (including anaphylaxis, rash, urticaria).

Nervous system disorders: frequency unknown — paresthesia.

Vascular disorders: frequency unknown — hypotension.

General disorders and administration site conditions: frequency unknown — injection site reactions (including pain and swelling).

DRUG INTERACTIONS

Thiamine hydrochloride solution should not be mixed with solutions containing sulfites, as it is completely degraded. It should not be mixed in the same syringe with penicillin or streptomycin (antibiotic inactivation), nor with nicotinic acid (thiamine degradation).

Long-term use of anticonvulsants (phenobarbital, phenytoin, carbamazepine), as well as concomitant use with digoxin, indomethacin, and antacids, may lead to thiamine deficiency.

Thiosemicarbazone and 5-fluorouracil inhibit thiamine activity. Caffeine, sulfur-containing drugs, and estrogens increase the requirement for thiamine.

Thiamine reduces the curare-like effect of depolarizing muscle relaxants (e.g., suxamethonium).

Cyanocobalamin is pharmaceutically incompatible with ascorbic acid and heavy metal salts (inactivation).

Aminoglycosides, salicylates, antiepileptic drugs, colchicine, and potassium preparations reduce vitamin B12 absorption.

Cyanocobalamin may enhance allergic reactions caused by thiamine.

Chloramphenicol reduces the hematopoietic response to vitamin B12.

Concomitant use with drugs that increase blood coagulation is not recommended.

SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS

The minimum concentration of benzyl alcohol at which toxic effects may occur is unknown.

High doses should be used with caution and only when clearly indicated, especially in patients with impaired hepatic or renal function due to the risk of accumulation and toxicity (metabolic acidosis).

Hypervitaminosis B6 and toxic reactions (including peripheral neuropathy and involuntary movements) have been reported in patients on chronic hemodialysis receiving intravenous multivitamin preparations containing 4 mg of pyridoxine administered three times per week.

Use during pregnancy and lactation

The drug may be used during pregnancy and lactation only if the expected benefit to the mother outweighs the potential risk to the fetus or breastfed infant.
